Registration is closed

Small boat storage space includes the area from the boat launch ramp to the creek.  Boats may be stored on shoreline racks, canoe racks or on dollies (small, hand-pushed trailers provided by the boat owners).  Storage for trailered boats that use the hoists to launch is in the boat park area at the south end of the club.

All boats should be insured for loss.  For all trailered boats or boats with a motor, the owner should provide a certificate of insurance with at least $300,000 in liability coverage.

REGISTRATION

Please pay and complete the registration form, by clicking on the “Register” box on the left.  So that the Harbormaster can identify your watercraft and apply a registration sticker, please provide as much detail as possible about your craft (type, make, length, color and other distinguishing features) and its location (rack and slot number on a canoe rack, shoreline rack number and location, etc.).

Every effort will be made to allow registrants to occupy the same racks and parking spots as in previous years, but ultimately assignments will be on a first-come first-served basis.  However, the Harbormaster reserves the right to reassign craft to ensure that long-term occupants retain their spots and individuals using the canoe racks have access to a slot that allows for any physical limitations (e.g.,height, back problems, etc.).

Please note that “Boats left unregistered on club grounds will become the property of IYC.”

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Harbormaster, Clare Fewtrell at <ithacayacht.harbormaster@gmail.com>.
