Boats, such as J/24, that are stored on trailers and use the hoists to launch are kept in the hoist area at the south end of the club.  The hoists have a capacity of 2 tons.

A limited number of boats on trailers that use the concrete launching ramp can be stored at the club.

The summer season is April 1 to November 30.  Every effort is made to assign boats the same spaces as in previous years, but the Harbormaster reserves the right to reassign spaces if necessary.

• For boats with a motor, the owner should provide a certificate of insurance with at least $300,000 in liability coverage.
• The club may apply a registration sticker to your trailer or boat.
• Storage of members’ empty trailers at the club is not permitted.
• Boats left unregistered on club grounds will become the property of IYC.

Winter Storage

Winter storage is available for boats on trailers in the hoist area.

Registration

The dues for a boat stored on a trailer are $334, plus 8% tax. Please complete the registration form, by clicking on the Register box on the left.  Provide as much detail as possible about your boat (type, make, length, color and other distinguishing features).
