CLUB KAYAKS AND PADDLE BOARDS

The Yacht Club has several kayaks and paddle boards for members and guests when the lifeguards are on duty. They are stored on shoreline racks next to the lifeguard stand.  Look for IYC labels to be sure you are not taking someone's privately-owned kayak.

Before using the club kayaks and paddle boards for the first time each member will be asked to sign the Agreement for the Use of Club Boats.

The paddle boards were donated by Puddledockers and two of the kayaks were a gift from John Ford.

Rules for Kayak & Paddle Board Use

  • To use a kayak or paddle board at times when the swimming area is open, sign out the boat at the lifeguard stand.
  • Time limit is 1 hour.
  • You are required to wear a personal flotation device (life jacket).
  • Children 12 and under require adult supervision.  The lifeguards are not responsible for watching children on kayaks.
  • Keep track of paddles, clean the boat after use, and turn the boat upside-down on the rack.
