The Swimming Area

The swimming area is open every day from mid-June through Labor Day, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Many of the lifeguards are local high school students and the schedule is based around the school vacations.

The lifeguards have a small first aid kit.  They hoist the Star's and Stripes on the club's flagpole every morning and also sign out the club's kayaks and paddle boards. There is a small sandpit beside the swimming area. 

Please do not swim except when the lifeguards are on duty.

Note.  June 20, 2025.  The opening of the swim area has been delayed.  We are waiting for the certificate from the Tompkins County Health Department.  We hope to be open shortly.
