Junior Roasts are a 65+ year-old tradition at IYC.
Parents bring a dish to pass from home, to supplement hamburgers and hotdogs provided by IYC, grilled by parent volunteers. IYC children and their friends/siblings are invited to eat from the buffet for a small fee per child. The Grill line (north, lake side of the club) in the breezeway opens at 6pm.
Adults are invited to order from the clubhouse menu, and dine on the deck.
Sit back and watch your children being entertained with games and activities arranged by the lifeguards and/or sailing instructors. In the past, we’ve even introduced a “dish of the week” competition as judged by the grill master.
